Kindling Fire Lighting Wood In A Netted Sack in Orkney Islands

Our kindling fire lighting wood comes in easy to handle netted sacks. Its just the job for getting your open fire, wood burning stove or chimenia etc alight, quickly and easily.

The wood is sourced from a traditional West Sussex woodyard who in turn obtains it from local factories as waste product and then machine chops and bags it. We have been successfully supplying them for many years. We keep them stored undercover so they arrive with you dried out and ready to use. They can be used in open fires, wood burning stoves and chimenias etc. Each sack weighs approximately 5kg but as they are a natural product this can vary both up and down.

CO2 released from burning wood is equivalent to the CO2 absorbed by the tree in its growing life, this is unlike other types of fuels, as burning wood is effectively carbon neutral.
